I am trying to roast a salted tenderloin in “cloth”. Is there such a thing as cooking cloth.
Would a thin dish towel work?

I think clean light canvas would work for this dish. Or flour sack material that a lot of kitchen towels are made from.

Here's a recipe with photos and what appears to be a clean dish cloth:https://food52.com/recipes/18568-steven-raichlen-s-salt-crusted-beef-tenderloin-grilled-in-cloth-lomo-al-trapo

That’s the recipe I’m asking the question for! How funny!
