Does anyone have a recipe for those amazing blondies they sold in the korean bodegas in NYC in the 80's in plexiglass cabinets at the register?

They had tons of butter, walnuts and chocolate chips, and they must have been delivered daily, because they were so fresh. They weren’t wrapped with plastic. They were kept in a plexiglass case next to to register. I feel like they disappeared after 1989? Anybody? No idea who made/ distributed these.
