You are so lucky to live where good baked goods are available! For many of us, the bakery department of our local supermarket is as good as it gets. I bake my own bagels now because Lenders Bagels is the standard where I live. :(
Agree with much of what Kristen W. said, but I have made bread, and absolutely love the recipe for Kindred's Milk Bread on this site (https://food52.com/recipes/39343-kindred-s-milk-bread). Nova and or smoked salmon I don't think I would ever try, too expensive a fish to mess up, although Gravlax looks easy enough, but would need house guests to help me finish. No interest in making fresh pasta. I have deep-fried French fries (wonderful done in bacon fat BTW) and tempura shrimp and veges, but can't see me doing fried oysters although I love them.
Mine are mostly products as opposed to whole dishes: bread and yogurt come to mind, though I have made those once or twice but never do these days. Smoked salmon, these delicious marinated little sweet-hot peppers they have at the olive bar at my local market. Oh, and I almost always buy tabbuleh rather than make it. Granola (also have made it but these days almost always buy at the store). There are more - Asian condiments that I would have no idea how to make, for example - but mostly I cook from whole ingredients. Wish I had the time/energy to make fresh pasta more but almost always buy it dried from the store.
