This calls for 4 cups of the magic cake mix but the Magic Cake mix only seems to make just over 4 cups. Or do you triple the magic mix to start?

Hi Grannyglo, looks like for the chocolate cake, you'll just need 1 recipe of the Magic Cake Mix, which amounts to 4 cups (exactly the amount the chocolate cake recipe calls for). No need to make 4x the cake mix!
