Shascha, another option if you can't find a 4.5 pound piece of meat would be to purchase two smaller pieces totally about 4.5 pounds. Treat them exactly the same as far as seasoning and searing the meat and scale up the other ingredients, (well maybe not using 60 cloves of garlic... but that is me!)

Hi Sascha—not a dumb question at all! You can certainly buy a larger piece of meat and scale up the rest of the ingredients accordingly. Just make sure that you use a large enough pot for all the ingredients to comfortably fit, then roast until the meat is tender.
