I have just made these and even though they are delicious they are not nearly as flat and chewy as they look in the picture.

I followed the recipe exactly and even took the temperature of the butter to make sure it was a room temp, ie 65 degrees. My oven is also correctly calibrated - what else could it be?

Hi Brenda! Next time, try rotating the baking sheets in the oven halfway through cooking! Often times the back of the oven is much hotter than the front of the oven so the cookies can cook unevenly.
