I have a similar recipe(cranberry relish) that in addition to having it on Thanksgiving, I use it in a cookie recipe and a lemon Bundt cake. I zest the oranges (colored part only) cut the oranges and then peel off the pith (bitter white part.) Grind up the zest with cranberries and stir in remaining ingredients. This recipe calls for Jello (mine doesn't) that will thicken it up.
