Sweet potatoes - how to make light & fluffy

Question

I am making sweet potatoes with maple &amp;amp; chipotle- Bobby Flay recipe- and recipe calls for using a food mill or ricer to purée - I don’t have either of these.  How can I make these light &amp;amp; fluffy sweet potatoes ?

Thank you! This recipe is almost exactly like the Bobby Flay one:). I do have both the food processor and immersion blender, so that will work.  Also, can I substitute the maple syrup with honey?

Hi Ellie! Here's a similar recipe from a community member, Ashleyza, that doesn't call for a food mill or ricer: https://food52.com/recipes.... I made this recipe last year and can't wait to make it again tomorrow! And if you don't have a food processor or immersion blender, you can use a hand-masher (or even big fork) and some elbow grease.
