I don't see any link or instructions for the paste. What about already made Chipolte paste?

Hi CosmicCook, there are instructions for the paste in step 7 or the recipe. Additionally, you could use prepared chipotle paste as long as it is not salted or packed in adobo (a savory tomato and herb-based) sauce.
