Can I bake this with only two 8” pans?

Hi, because I only have two 8” pans, can I bake half the batter, then remove the baked cakes and reuse the pans for the remaining batter?

I did exactly that today and it worked out fine. The layers are relatively thin and easy to remove from the pans. I waited for the pans to cool and then prepped them again for the second set of 2 layers.
