can you put the herbs into the bottle with the infused oil

"Garlic, vegetable or herb in oil mixtures may support the growth of C. botulinum bacteria. For safety reasons, they should be made fresh. Leftovers should be frozen, refrigerated for use within 10 days, or discarded."

Try gently heating the oil to 170 F then added the herbs to kill bacteria, good and bad ones. Let it cool, and add to your bottle. I have done this and found I can keep it out near my prep area to grab fast as needed

Sure! Be aware, though, that you may need to refrigerate it because of possible contamination issues.
