My wife couldn't get our cast iron pan clean after we burnt food in it. She used some sand paper. Is the pan ruined? every thing sticks to it now

Hi Brian! It sounds like it may just need a little tune-up with some oil and heat. Here's what Lodge Cast Iron recommends if your pan is sticking: "Prior to cooking, add about a teaspoon of oil to your skillet and heat it gradually on the stovetop or in the oven to help reduce sticking. After cooking, allow the cookware to cool, then use a pan scraper to remove stuck-on food, scrub with a nylon brush or nonscratch pad, hand dry, and add a generous layer of oil. Rub the oil onto the pan until it is evenly distributed." https://www.lodgemfg.com/discover/cleaning-and-care/cast-iron/troubleshooting I hope that helps!
