I put the cake in the oven but it had gone off after being preheated.

I followed the recipe accurately but 15 minutes while checking on the cake, I realised by oven grill was not on or had gone off after I preheated it :(
I quickly turned it on to the correct temperature and reset the timer. Is this detrimental ?

Hi Sawsan! Not totally detrimental, as the oven temp is rather low, and the method of introducing heat (water bath) is gentle. The only thing I'd watch out for is an altered cooktime.
