Additions (Subtractions!) to Carrot Cake?

Good morning! I'm making carrot cake for an extremely picky group. Will the recipe be ruined if I don't add nuts and raisins? Not flavor-wise, but will the cake collapse?

Omitting either the raisins or the nuts or both will not affect the structure of the bread.
It will stand up.
By the way, if you have some non-picky eaters, you could make banana bread muffins, some with and some without fixings. Or split a recipe and make 2 smaller loaves, one with and one without.
Enjoy.
