Can you add cranberry juice to a deep fry batter?

Long story short, I dont sleep and I want a 4am cooking idea verified, would replacing vodka with a mixture of vodka and cranberry juice ruin a deep fry batter, or would it be okay, the recipe is from binging with babish deep fried burger video on youtube
½ cup corn starch

½ cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp kosher salt

¾ cup lager beer

¼ cup vodka

Agree with Philip and was going to write the same.
I don't think the cranberry juice will give much flavor or texture improvement to the batter when fried.
But if you have leftover cranberry juice and want to use it on a deep fried hamburger, as in this recipe, I would poach some fruit it in and use as garnish to contrast with other more savory garnishes.

I think the point of the vodka there is that it vaporizes quickly aerating the batter/crust. Cranberry juice is largely water (never my favorite thing to add to hot oil) and sugar which will brown faster. I don't think you'd be left with much cranberry flavor in the end.

As crazy as it sounds, a spicy burger, like I said 4am idea, not necessarily good

What are you trying to deep fry? Cranberry juice is so acidic. Why is it there?
