I have a 6 quart Cuisinart from TJ Maxx. About 5 years old, seems to me it was around $6-70 originally. Wonderful to cook in and has been used a lot! I have managed to chip the handles in a couple places, probably washing it.... not the lightest pot in my pantry to say the least, and the bottom white enamel is now an interesting dark bluish gray having seen many batches of blackberry jam...
The Milo enamel cast iron dutch ovens are high quality and a fantastic value! They are available in two sizes, both under $100. The enamel coating means they are ready to go out of the box-- no seasoning required! This is great if you want an easy care product! The white dutch oven with brass knob is my personal favorite! https://food52.com/shop/products/5338-food52-x-milo-cast-iron-cookware
You might consider getting an enameled cast iron Dutch oven (which I believe Lodge makes as well). I have an enameled Dutch oven which I use all the time; I am able to avoid any issues that may be attendant with seasoning a cast iron cooking utensil (and with preserving that seasoning). I don't use metal cooking/cleaning utensils in it (to avoid scratching the enamel) and I wash it by hand; but other than that, it's pretty easy to use and maintain.
I have had good results using a handful of Lodge products. If you decide to go for that brand, and don't have a cast iron skillet, you might want to consider their Dutch oven whose lid also works as a skillet. Also, can you take on the fairly constant maintenance? If that's a burden, consider a Dutch oven in another material that's easier to care for.
No, don't have this dutch oven (Yet) because I've already got a workhorse Lodge skillet. But it's on my list to buy if I need a dutch oven for home use or as a gift.
