It was a tease! Where’s the crust?

I read the story, mouth watering... as I reviewed the recipe, I realized I was missing the best part. What form of taunting could explain how a person could describe a flaky, buttery crust without including it in the recipe. Would you be so kind as to add it?

Actually the crust information is there both in the intro and the recipe itself: "Peruvian empanadas feature a crumbly, buttery crust that melts in your mouth. I’ve found that American frozen pie crust makes a great substitute." And then the recipe calls for a purchased pie crust.

But/and if you want to make the dough from scratch, there are recipes here and at other sites.
