Are the crispy chickpeas as hard as cornnuts?

How hard are the baked chickpeas? Similar to cornnuts? My roasted chickpeas are harder than cornnuts--no where near as light &amp;amp; crispy as store bought roasted chickpeas.

PS if your roasted chickpeas are harder than you like, cook them to a more tender texture before draining and roasting.

They have a slightly crunchy texture (depending on how much you roast/bake them).
But they dont usually achieve the same crispiness as commercial products.
Still, very good...some on their own may be used instead of breadcrumbs in salad, as suggested in recipe notes.
Or seasoned and served instead of nuts with beer and cocktails.
