Can this work with a butterball
Can I use this method with a butterball? I am also considering braising the dark meat, it just never seems done enough.

Yes-I've done it with a butterball seasoned bird. Just thaw completely first and reduce the salt a bit, approx by 20% to make up for the saltier butterball. Worked perfectly fine for me.
