Can this work with a butterball

Can I use this method with a butterball? I am also considering braising the dark meat, it just never seems done enough.

A Butterball turkey is pre-injected with brine, so if you decide to dry brine it, I'd recommend reducing the amount of salt you use.

Hi Patt,
Yes-I've done it with a butterball seasoned bird. Just thaw completely first and reduce the salt a bit, approx by 20% to make up for the saltier butterball. Worked perfectly fine for me.
