Egg White Substitute, Aquafaba?

I would love to make this recipe, but I am also allergic to eggs. Can I sub aquafaba for the egg whites? If so, how much? Thank you!!!

I don't see any reason why you couldn't substitute it. I would chill the aquafaba overnight, and add a pinch of cream of tartar to help stabilize the foam. I've used this as a sub for meringue a few times, quite successfully, and a macaron is at heart just a variant of meringue cookie.
