How long do you let the sugar and water cook? I tried to go by eye, but maybe that wasn’t long enough?
I tried to make this and the sugar crystallized shortly after I added the cereal. I still let it cook for 3 minutes, hoping some kind of kitchen magic would turn it back into caramel, but nothing doing. I ended up with a sort of frosted Rice Kristy thing.
