Is it okay to use nut milk in place of cow's milk in this recipe?

Yes! Sohla actually talks about this in the YouTube video for this recipe and recommended oat, cashew or possibly soy milk, but advised against using almond because it doesn't have the same creaminess/richness. :-)

I believe you could sub nut milk for cow's milk without a problem.
