For this chocolate cake by neutral oil do you mean anything in my cupboard?

Hi Lisa, What do you mean by a neutral oil? Also can I use a tablespoon of coffee for flavor if I don't have espresso powder?

In case Lisa doesn’t see this, a neutral oil is one that doesn’t have a pronounced flavor, like canola oil, corn oil or peanut oil.

Oils such as olive oil and nut oils have pronounced flavors and are to be avoided when a neutral oil is specified.
