How much is a "bunch" of cilantro?

How much is 1/4 of a bunch of cilantro? I have some leftover in the fridge, but no clue how much I need for this recipe. Actual measurements would be helpful, as "bunch" isn't an exact measurement. Are we talking a tablespoon of chopped cilantro, a cup, more?

Hi there - obviously each bunch of cilantro is different, but I typically find that those at my grocery store yield about a 3/4 cup of chopped leaves. I'd aim for 2-3 tablespoons for this recipe, depending on how strong you like the cilantro flavor to be.

One regular grocery store "bunch" of cilantro produces between 3/4 - 1 cup loose packed & chopped cilantro leaves. I have often used about 1/4 loose packed & chopped cup = 1/4 "bunch" of cilantro and have found that an appropriate amount for many recipes.
