Could the chocolate cake be baked in a jelly roll pan and then the rabbits punched out with the cookie cutter?

Presumably rabbit shape to be punched out of both cakes and the chocolate ones inserted in the vanilla loaf? Then the leftovers, both chocolate and vanilla, used elsewhere (cook's choice, make cake crumbs for other uses, etc). Sounds good to me.
