Any tips on splitting up the process? Does chiffon cake (baked) freeze well to ice/decorate the next day?

The cake can be made up to 24 hours ahead. I wrap it tightly and store at room temperature. It would also freeze well, wrapped tightly, for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before using. Happy Baking!
