If it's a common dish, you can CHEAT & LOOK UP the calories for another version online. If it's your own (new) recipe, and you're mostly interested in CALORIES, use online charts or applications to calculate the values for the ingredients with largest volume and/or calories (usually fat and carbohydrate-strong foods). If it's your own (new) recipe and you're interested in ALL NUTRITION VALUES, do as above for 2 or 3 ingredients with largest volume.
