Possible substitution for Butter?

King Arthur Baking website has a great article on making baked goods dairy free. It reads that most cookies can be successfully made with vegan butter. I am currently using Mykonos and having success.

I use Earth Balance. It's sold in sticks & tubs. My sib is allergic to the protein in milk, so this works out fine. NO-ONE can tell the difference in my baked goods (or sauces etc.)
