Does heating the creme de cassis make it nonalcoholic?

You can heat a liqueur to remove most of the alcohol, but never all if it. There will always be ~0.5% alcohol left, no matter how long you heat it.

That much heating will affect the flavor. Since the recipe calls for only 2TB, maybe you can omit or use a little bit of vinegar. I think a little white balsamic would work here.

Or, use a non-alcoholic fruit juice or water to replace the liqueur.

Creme de chassis is a liqueur, so it isn't nonalcoholic
