There is no baking powder listed in the ingredients, yet it is in the instructions. Help!

When you encounter confusing instructions on a website, the first thing to do is to see if they were posted elsewhere on the Internet.

It took me ten seconds to find the recipe on the author's blog:

https://moonandspoonandyum.com/gluten-free-buckwheat-cacao-banana-bread-loaf/#recipe

where the baking powder quantity is listed at one (1) teaspoon.

Note that this type of sleuthing is not specific to Food52 or even just food recipes in general. It is applicable to *ANY* set of bungled instructions or tutorial you might find online: auto & home repair, arts & crafts primers, Linux system administration procedures, whatever.
