I've never used an air fryer to make doughnuts, and I've never made this doughnut recipe, but based on some quick research - looking at other recipes for raised doughnuts made in air fryers -- I'd say it's worth a try!
You should preheat the fryer to 350F. Spray the basket with a neutral oil spray and lay the doughnuts on the basket, making sure they don't touch one another. Lightly spray the tops and then cook for about 4 minutes until golden brown. Some recipes have you flip the doughnuts over halfway through. I'd probably try it both ways, given that you'll need to do more than one batch.
Good luck, and please, report back on your results! ;o)
