Streaks and buildup on glass are generally due to mineral deposits. There are many cleaning products on the market designed to remove soap scum and lime deposits, so you have options. They are usually labeled to announce that they will do this task. If you wish to go a more "natural" route, you can mix a paste of vinegar and baking soda and use that to scrub away scum. It has to sit for a while to remove lime scale deposits though. There are also plenty of websites/blogs with recipes to make your own bathroom cleaner to help prevent this happening again. Most rely on vinegar, water, baking soda and dish soap- so you don't have to buy anything particularly expensive, and can reuse an old spray bottle.
