Light brown sugar for World Peace Cookies

Hello! I have about half the amount of light brown sugar that the recipe calls for. Should I supplement with more white sugar or dark brown sugar?

Use the dark brown … the molasses in both light and dark brown sugars add to the moistness of baked goods, if you use granulated sugar you may end up with dry cookies.
