Epicurious.com has Gourmet magazine recipes. Look there and you'll know if you find/recognize it. If you don't find it, write again with details you can remember about the dish (was it made with solid chocolate or cocoa powder, vanilla or brandy, etc) and maybe someone here will recognize it.
