Same question… do these need to be stored in refrigerator?

I would not, although individually wrapped, I think they could be safely stored in the freezer. The fridge tends to make anything crispy stale. I would leave the pan on the counter and cover with plastic wrap or transfer the bars into a fairly airtight container.
