I’ve cooked with both chilled and room temperature beer. The room temp beer will heat up a bit faster with the rest of the dish. but both worked and tasted fine.
Thank you. I thought I heard somewhere that chilled beer does better for easing the aromas and flavors throughout the dish but maybe I am getting too weird haha.

Yes, try your recipe with cold beer one time, and then with room temp beer another time.
