What do you serve with this pasta? Served with a pork chop? Garlic bread? A salad. Just looking for options for a small dinner party this weekend.

This recipe pie and its headnote (an article in itself) sound luscious. And SO right about James Beard recipes - apparently simple, ultimately divine.

Menu ideas:
No bread, no other starch.
A simple grilled protein (trout, steak, what you like).
A salad or green vegetable
Wine
A fruit dessert (no cake).

Have a lively party!
