Can you use a cookie scoop instead of piping the pâté choux on the baking sheet?

Yes, I've seen it recommended before, although if it's on the looser side I imagine that it might cause some shape irregularities if it catches on the side, but nothing too bad!

And another idea - maybe use one of those ice cream scoops that have a scraper inside the bowl to release the ice cream or, in this case, the choux dough.
