Looking for a Nutella substitute?

This cake sounds delicious. However, I loathe Nutella. Do you have any suggestions for a substitute? If not, I could easily just use a different topping.
Thanks so much,
A

I think any nut butter with chocolate would work. I have seen chocolate almond butter, even chocolate pecan butter. As a last resort, you could make it yourself if you have a food processor. Lots of recipe on the internet for chocolate nut butter. And then you could control the sweetness. :)

I suggest:
Maison Nocciola Crema Gianduja from www.dolceterra.com
For myself I prefer the dark chocolate version. But, I believe they have a milk chocolate version as well.
It is definitely superior in taste & texture to Nutella. :)

Thanks. But I’m looking for something that doesn’t contain hazelnuts. Really don’t like the flavor.

Another direction - smooth peanut (or any other nut) butter. You could use it as is, or mix with some melted chocolate.

Correction: it would be that same product but it's from:
www.maisondellanocciola.com
I use a couple of sources for my ingredients & accidentally noted the incorrect site for this particular product.
I know you said you hate hazelnuts, but I put in the correction for other who might read this post.
