What Do I Do With Black Beans To Add Them To A Dish

Question

I have a cryovac bag of these beans, do I just add them straight to a dish or do they have be be prepared in some way? Can't see anything on Google and there are no English instructions on the packet. Thank you!

Thanks Ernie. The only English says "Salted Black Beans". I've had them many time, but never used them myself. Going to make Beef &amp;amp; Black noodles tonight. Cheers!

Are they fermented black beans (dou chi, 豆豉)? If so, they'll be great to use when you want a salty, funky addition to a dish. You don't have to do anything to them, just optionally chop/mash if you want a different texture.
