Chuck roast slow cooked for sandwiches.

I slow cooked a chuck roast to shred for sandwiches. I removed the roast to cool, set all the juices aside to cool, then refrigerate to skim fat. While I took the dogs out, my spouse dumped all of the cooking juices down the garbage disposal. I have a cooked roast, no juices to reheat it in, or add to sandwiches. What do I do, help!
The roast was cooked bbq style in a home made (Heinz style) chili sauce, plus, ketchup, Dijon, Worcestershire sauce, honey, garlic, onion, ginger.

Suggestion: make another mixture (that the roast was cooked in) in smaller quantity and heat in a sauce pan. Simmer for a few minutes to take the rawness out of the onion. Puree in a blender or with an immersion blender. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve with the sandwiches.

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. That’s my plan. Hopefully it all works out well. Unfortunately, the sauce won’t have the benefit of being slow cooked with the meat, but if it turns out well, I will reheat the shredded meat in some of that sauce, maybe with some added stock. Wish me luck. Thanks again. Tomorrow is the day.
