The recipe uses unsalted butter so I would go for the salted pistachios. I think it would benefit from the additional saltiness of the nuts to balance the sweetness of the cookie.
I would recommend unsalted pistachios because there’s plenty of salt in the recipe already. If you can only get salted pistachios, use them but reduce the salt elsewhere in the recipe to balance the flavor.
