This doesn’t sound festive but kichri is a great vegan dish that is welcomed by the vegetarian contingent and not too rich. :) quick in an Instant Pot.

I love to make a cheeseball for the holidays. This Food52 recipe is terrific and it's so easy with a food processor: https://food52.com/recipes/32975-cheese-ball-with-pecans-and-dried-cranberries

I repeatedly receive requests to bring my Potato-Leek Soup. I can make it the day before and take in a crockpot to heat and keep it warm. Don't forget a supply of disposable spoons and dishes, although I found that disposable cups work just as well. Have fun!

I like to do cheese and deli meat cubes, or bites of smoked sausage, on skewers. You can get pretty creative with adding in olives, pickles of all sorts- including okra, green beans, or giardiniera. Spear your favorite combos, stack them up in a circular pattern around the platter, and enjoy. They make a nice break from the usual rich and sweet goodies.

Hi Stephanie! I like to make an all-vegetable, no noodle lasagna with zucchini and eggplant. I do it without a recipe but this one is similar and gets rave reviews: https://food52.com/recipes/88759-no-noodle-eggplant-lasagna-recipe
