Nut issues for sensitive teeth

The majority of the pistachios will be finely ground and incorporated into the cookie dough- so as long as the friend can chew a cookie, those shouldn't pose any tooth hazards. As for the nuts sprinkled on the top with the glaze- those can also be pretty finely chopped, or even omitted. If you wanted to amp up the nut flavor without the risk, they do make pistachio oil flavorings which you can buy or order. I found mine at Michaels, most recently- but Amazon also carries a few brands. You could use a few drops of that in the glaze, instead of the chopped nuts.
