Mascarpone is heaven

It is indeed delicious -- it is often used in desserts such as tiramisu, but it is lovely all on its own as topping for berries or chocolate desserts. It can also be an ingredient in savory Italian dishes, such as ravioli and other stuffed pastas and as a pasta sauce ingredient. I also like it as a sandwich filling.

Here is the official definition from wikipedia Mascarpone is is an Italian triple-cream cheese made from crème fraîche, denatured with tartaric acid.[1] Sometimes buttermilk is added as well, depending on the brand. After denaturation, whey is removed without pressing or aging
Its very very mild almost sweet unlike cream cheese which is a little more tangy. Its delicious.
