Prime rib cooking I am cutting a 16 pound prime rib in half does it affect the cooking time?

The internal temperature is more important than the time. Use a meat thermometer. I prefer a remote so that you don’t have to open the oven door and lose heat. In this case you will need two. Choose your degree of doneness and set the temp for that. I have never done this so you might also want to retake them. I hope you are successful and happy holiday!
