Hi foodpickle I don't have time to refrigerate my pots de creme ( set custard) How can I speed up the setting time? Will the freezer work?

Agree with boulangere. Alternatively, you could set them in a flat-bottomed bowl of ice water.

It's no sin to serve pot de crème at room temp or even slightly warm, so I'd suggest you relax and not worry about rapid cooling.
