What is the best way to store leafy greens?

I wrap leafy greens in paper towels and then put them into an airtight container. Keep them as dry as you can and the greens will hold about 2 weeks or so.

I do something similar but use a terry-cloth salad bag. You could do something similar with a hand towel or a dish towel.
I store a lettuce head uncut and unwashed until I need it. Then wash, cut and store in the city in bag until it’s gone.
