When to add the final 1/3 of spices?

Great recipe - but when does the final 1/3 of the spice blend get added? Maybe to the carmelized onions l?

Ah yes, now I see that in the text before the recipe. I added the remaining spices after the onions were carmelized, and let the spices cook a little before adding the stock etc. The recipe turned out very well! I will try it with less spice next time, just for comparison. Thanks!

Hi Andrea, in the recipe description I said that the spice mix makes more than you actually need - scaling it down to the exact amount needed would require a lot of very odd measurements. I usually hold on to the leftover rub and use it when I’m roasting potatoes.
