What type or kind of Chile powder?

There are all kinds of Chile powder, what specific one (Latin, Asian) did you use--what peppers/spices are in the one you used?

You could

1) use some of the "Chile powder" commercial blend sold by several spice companies;

2) make your own "chile powder" from black & cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin, garlic powder and oregano.;

3) use any dried chile you have on hand and like, ground up or crumbled into the dish.

One or two people who made this (see the reviews/comments) simply used cayenne pepper.

PS While browsing for something else, came across this review of store brand and mail order chile powders, with some recommendations. FYI.
